Take 3 cups of water and boil it with 1 teaspoon freshly ground cardamom, 3 star aniseed flowers , 3 tablespoons of Kashmiri chai leaves and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda , boil it until remain 2 cups and color of water turns dark purple. Remove it from flame and wait till it cool down.Now add one cup of ice cubes in it and stir it with serving spoon until nice pinkish purple color extract. Keep it on flame for another 10 minutes. Kehwa is ready you can store it in fridge up to a week. When you want to make tea , add milk (olpers brand is good in Pakistan) for more rich taste add everyday milk too. Add sugar and boil until it cooked nicely. Pour in cups with dash of cream and crushed pistachios.
