    Sheer Maal Recipe

    Ingredients

    Flour 1/2 Kg
    Milk Half Cup Small
    Milk Powder 1 Cup
    Salt 1 tsp
    Ghee 1 Cup
    Sugar 2tsp

    Method

    Melt Sugar in Luke Warm water and set aside.
    Add add all other ingredients. Kneed flour and other mixed ingredients with the help of sweetend luke warm water . Then leave this kneed flour for 15 min.
    Then in a backing tray put the kneed flour in sheer maal form and mark the sheer maal with sheer maal cuts.
    In a preheated oven on 250 degree celcious and bake that sheer maal for 7-10 min.

    For cooking sheer maal on stove. Put sheer maal in pan and cover the lid for 2-3 min then apply water on other side and turn the side change and cook for more 2-3 min on flame. Then apply ghee on front surface of sheer maal. Serve hot with Qorma or Halwa or any thing.

    Method-2
    Ingredients
    1/2 kg flour
    1 egg
    1/2 cup ghee
    1/2 cup castor sugar
    1 tbsp yeast
    1/4 tsp salt
    milk to knead dough
    Cooking Method
    Soak yeast in lukewarm water for 10 minutes.
    Place all ingredients in a large bowl.
    Mix well and knead a soft dough with milk.
    Leave it for 20 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 150 degree C.
    Make sugar syrup by dissolving a little sugar in water.
    Make small balls out of the dough.
    Roll into shape of roti.
    Brush top with sugar syrup.
    Prick top by using fork.
    Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until golden.
    Take it out from the oven.
    Sheermal is ready to serve.

    Ingredients
    Flour 2 cups
    Salt tsp
    Caster Sugar 1 tbsp heaped
    Solid Milk cup
    Instant Yeast 2 tsp
    Kewra Water 1 tsp
    Clarified Butter 3 tbsp heaped
    Cream 3 tbsp
    Egg 1
    Milk powder 4 tbsp heaped (full Cream)
    Luke warm Water to make dough
    Milk for brush
    Sesame seeds for sprinkle
    METHOD:

    1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl flour, salt, caster sugar, solid milk, instant yeast, kewra water, clarified butter, cream, egg and milk powder.
    2. Mix well and knead into a soft dough with luke warm water.
    3. Bang the dough well and knead the dough very well and leave to rise in an oil bowl till double.
    4. Cover, punch down the dough make into 3 or 4 balls.
    5. Spread with your hands to a quarter plate size, put on a foil line tray.
    6. Prick the centre with fork, do not prick the sides.
    7. Leave it and covered for 45 minutes.
    8. Brush top with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds.
    9. Bake in a pre heated oven 200 degree C for 12 to 15 minutes.
    10. Remove immediately brush with milk.
    11. Cover immediately in foil till you require to use it.
